Study for Tiger

Study for Tiger by Ellsworth Kelly places a single dark shape over a plain field. The form recalls the outline of a large feline, reduced to a simple silhouette. The background stays unpainted, so the shape reads clearly without extra detail.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The plain paper surface keeps the edges of the shape sharp.

It hangs well above a long desk where the room is quiet. From across the room you notice the dark shape against the lighter field. Up close you see the clean edge of the form and the unprinted paper around it.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
