Study of an Apple — Fine Art

Study of an Apple shows a single apple resting on a surface. The fruit sits in a muted red tone against a soft grey ground. Broad brush marks fill the sheet and the paint sits in separate patches. The picture keeps its attention on the shape and the weight of the fruit.

A white frame finishes this fine art print and the clean edge draws the eye to the fruit. The frame gives the image a clear border on the wall and the white tone stays calm against the grey ground.

In a study room you see the apple on the desk and the frame edge lines up with the shelf. From the door the grey ground looks flat and the red of the fruit stands out. The print sits above the desk and the room keeps its work pace.
