Suma

Suma by Cy Twombly sits within the gestural abstract painting practice of the artist. A soft ground carries a few handwritten lines and painted strokes that drift without a clear centre. The marks read as quick notes left on the sheet.

The fine art print uses matte paper so the grey tones stay muted and there is no shine under a lamp. A light frame on a dark wall or a wood frame beside wooden furniture can match the room.

It works on a quiet hallway wall hung at eye level under even light. From across the room the broad shapes hold the space, and up close the small pencil marks show.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
