Summer Play — Fine Art

Summer Play by Lee Krasner lays broad strokes across a pale field. The paint sits in separate bands, some thick and some thin, laid down in a loose order. The marks read as quick gestures, with pressure building in a few places and fading out in others.

The fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy.

It works on a kitchen wall above the sink, where the morning light hits the pale field and the grey bands read clearly. From the table you see the separate strokes, and the broad gestures feel calm before the day starts.
