Superficie alluminio - 1969 shows a smooth surface built from parallel rows of small raised ridges.

Enrico Castellani made these relief surfaces using aluminium sheets pressed into tight patterns. The light falls across the rows and changes as you move past the print.

The fine art print keeps that effect on paper, with the ridges drawn as pale lines on a flat ground. On a hallway wall at shoulder height, the rows catch the light from the side and you notice the rhythm first, then the quiet space around each line.
