Sweet Score-Skylark — Fine Art

Sweet Score-Skylark - 1960 by Gene Davis fills the sheet with painted bands that step through steady hues. The narrow stripes run the full width, and the eye moves along each change of tone. Empty space stays small between the bands.

This fine art print uses a white frame that gives the picture a clean edge on a wall. The white trim keeps the bands clear without pulling attention away from the colours.

A hallway wall above a matte bench shows the step of each band before the turn. From the far end you follow the lines all the way to the door.
