Tanks — Fine Art

Tanks - 1938 by Arthur Dove follows the same bent line and flat colour field that run through his wider work.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The shapes lean across the surface without strict outline. A white frame gives the image a clear edge and settles the colours around the border.

The white finish keeps the pale tones open and separates the picture from the wall. It works above the desk in a study where the desk lamp throws a steady light and the lean lines read across the top of the desk.
