Tau — Fine Art

Tau - 1965 shows a grid of small painted marks laid out in rows against a muted ground. Each mark is a short brush stroke, repeated with steady care. Roman Opalka worked by adding one number to the next across many panels, and this picture belongs to that long sequence.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The white frame gives the image a clean border on the wall. That clear edge holds the repeated marks in place, so the grid does not drift at the sides.
