Thalocropolis by Al Held

Thalocropolis by Al Held uses hard edged shapes split into two colour areas. The painting sits within the hard edge abstract work Al Held is known for. You see firm outlines and two colour zones meeting along a straight line.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fixed to the back. You put it straight onto a nail or screw, no frame to buy. The matte surface keeps the hard edges sharp and stops a shine under a lamp.

It fits a narrow study wall beside a desk. From the doorway you notice the two colour zones first. When you stand close the straight lines and flat colour blocks are easy to read.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
