The 3Rd Day of the Creation

The 3Rd Day of the Creation draws the eye with shapes that shift as you move closer. A calm pattern of forms fills the picture and stays steady from the hallway. MC Escher built the study from thin black marks on a pale ground, the way he worked across many drawings.

This fine art piece arrives in a white, wood, dark wood or black frame. The frame gives the picture a clear edge on the wall and holds the pale field together. You see the edges of the drawing meet the frame without crowding the shapes.

In a study above a desk, the drawing reads as a quiet rhythm. From the doorway the shapes stay soft and grouped. Up close the small marks show their spacing and the white paper breathes between them.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
