The Buffet Catalan — Fine Art

The Buffet Catalan holds a meal set on a wooden table. Pablo Picasso broke the objects into angled planes and overlapping blocks. A bottle, plates and cutlery sit close together in muted tones. The scene reads like a cubist still life from the early modern period.

This fine art print keeps the soft paper finish so the grey tones do not shine under a lamp. The frame can match the room, a light frame on a dark wall or a wood frame beside wooden furniture. It hangs at a comfortable height on the chosen wall.

It fits a dining room wall near the serving area. From the table you see the blocky forms across the wood grain. From the doorway the dark shapes stand out against the lighter plaster.
