The Decorated Tomb of Ancient Japan B - 1969 shows flat colour bands across the sheet. Warm earth tones sit next to cooler grey shapes.

The edges stay hard and the surface reads as clean colour blocks. Hiroyuki Tajima built the image from separate painted strokes that keep the forms clear.

The fine art print uses a white frame that makes the colour bands read cleanly on the wall. The white edge keeps the picture separate from the room behind it. On a hallway wall near the coat hooks, the grey bands pull back and the warm tones come forward when the door opens.
