The Lac dAnnecy — Fine Art

The Lac dAnnecy shows a stretch of water held between tree covered hills and a narrow strip of sky. Separate patches of blue and green build the surface, and the trunks rise as a row of vertical forms. The picture stays close to the way Paul Cezanne built landscape in his later years.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The matte sheet keeps the separate colour patches flat and even under room light.

It fits a reading corner wall beside a shelf of books. From the chair you read the layered water and the dark trunks, and the steady blue spreads across the small space.
