The Mediterranean Coast by Henri — Fine Art

The Mediterranean Coast shows a strip of sea meeting the shore in separate colour patches. Henri-Edmond Cross places warm yellows and greens against a cooler blue band. The marks stay apart so the water reads as broken light rather than a smooth stretch.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. You do not need to buy a separate frame. The metal hanger lets the picture sit flush against a wall in the room you choose.

It works on a long hallway wall where the daylight runs along the length of the building each morning. From the far end of the corridor you see the blue band first, then the yellow shore, before you notice the small separate strokes.
