The Moment

The Moment stays on one dark ground with a single vertical band reaching from top to bottom. The band is sharper than the field around it, and the whole image relies on that one cut. Barnett Newman built his work around this kind of division.

Our fine art print uses a frame with a clean white finish. That white edge separates the picture from the wall and keeps the vertical band from fading into the background.

On a bedroom wall near the bed, the dark field holds its depth and the band stays sharp at the head of the mattress.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
