The River — Fine Art

Water and sky sit beside each other in this print of The River. The blues run into lighter tones near the top. Raoul Dufy worked in a modern style with open colour. You see the water line and the thin strokes over it. The scene stays simple and clear.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. The sheet arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fixed to the back. You fit it onto a nail or screw and the print sits straight on the wall. The matte surface keeps the blues from shining under a lamp.

On a landing wall above the stairs you notice the water band first. From the hall door you catch the blue band before the steps. The lighter tones read at that distance.
