The Tree by Agnes Martin

The Tree shows a single upright form set against a quiet pale field. Thin pencil lines run in even rows over the page, with a soft grey band near the centre.

Agnes Martin worked in this late modern painting style, using simple lines on open ground. The fine art print keeps the pencil marks light and the background calm, so the drawing reads clearly without shine.

A matte paper holds the pale tones without glare. The fine art frame can follow the room, a light frame on a dark wall or a wood frame beside wooden furniture. It hangs on a long wall above eye level, where the horizontal rows stay steady from the doorway and the central band settles as you step closer.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
