The Valley of Sasso — Fine Art

The Valley of Sasso by Claude Monet opens on a wide slope dropping into a broad valley. Green and yellow patches cover the hillside, with a strip of water at the far end.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. From across the room you read the big colour areas first. Up close the paint breaks into small strokes and spots of bare paper.

The white frame gives the picture a clean edge on the wall, and the flat frame edge does not pull focus from the valley. You can see it on a dining room wall near the door. From the table you notice the light on the far trees before the closer strokes.
