Three Cherries

Three Cherries - 2000 shows a small fruit set on a grounded backing. The cherries sit plain and the brushwork stays simple. Mary Fedden painted still life subjects with clear outlines and calm colour throughout her career.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The print keeps the flat paint feel and the frame holds it ready to hang.

It fits a study wall near a desk lamp. You notice the fruit shapes first and the even tone of the background after.
