About this work

Three Intersecting Planes

Three Intersecting Planes shows flat planes passing through one another on the sheet. The lines follow the edges where each plane meets the next. MC Escher built this idea from the same study of space and structure that runs through his later drawings.

This fine art print arrives with a metal hanger fixed to the back. You can put it on a nail or screw right away, with no frame to order and no extra fitting needed.

It sits well on the wall beside a study desk, where the sharp edges stay clear when you work. From the chair you see the crossing lines first, then the flat areas between them.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.
Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
