About this work

Thunderers

The sheet shows a running subject caught in a hard wind, with thick black strokes laid down across the paper.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. Thunderers - 1920 belongs to the Canadian Group of Seven tradition, where artists painted the land and its weather with direct paint handling.

The frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black, and the clear edge it gives sits cleanly against the strong marks on the sheet. You notice the black lines first from a hallway wall, then the white space around them as you walk past.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.
Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
