Transformation of a Scheme No 19 1950 — Fine Art

A paper print of Transformation of a Scheme No 19 1950 by Josef Albers reads as a measured arrangement of flat colour bands.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The hierarchy of tone stays clear from the doorway, while the narrow edges of each band show their own shifts close up. The white frame gives the image a clean boundary on the wall.

The white finish keeps the pale tones soft and stops a strong shine under a lamp. It suits a kitchen wall over the counter, where you see the wide bands first and the thin edges later.
