Untitled 1 and 2 — Fine Art

Untitled 1 and 2 - 1990 shows painted blocks of colour set across the sheet with hard edges between them. From a doorway the bands read as solid colour, and up close you notice the brush lines sitting on the paper.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The print comes ready to hang with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. You hang the work without buying a separate frame. The matte paper keeps the colour bands from shining under a lamp.

It suits a kitchen wall above the cooker, where the flat colour bands stay clear during the morning light. From the sink you see the blocks of paint filling the sheet, and the metal hanger holds the print level on the wall.
