Untitled 1941 — Fine Art

Untitled 1941 shows a painted shape resting on a plain ground. The mark borrows from the cut out work Alexander Calder made in the nineteen forties. Colour sits against a quiet field and leaves open space around the edge.

A fine art print comes with a frame in white, wood, dark wood or black. The frame gives the picture a clear edge on the wall. The finish you pick changes how the painted tone sits against the room.

In a kitchen the painted shape reads across the counter from the sink. Morning light falls on the sheet and the frame edge stays sharp against the tiles.
