About this work

Untitled

Untitled - 1959 sits on a smooth ground with painted shapes laid across the sheet. The marks gather in loose groups and drift toward the edges.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The matte surface keeps the paint tones soft and the frame gives the sheet a clean edge.

It hangs well in a bedroom on the wall near the bed head. From the pillow you catch the broad colour patches first and the small strokes later.
