Untitled — Fine Art

Untitled - 1961 by Donald Judd shows flat planes cut into simple rectangles and bars. The colour sits in even bands with hard edges. The composition uses repeated forms laid side by side.

This fine art piece uses matte paper so the colour fields stay flat and the hard lines do not blur. A white frame gives the picture a clean border that keeps the bands separate on the wall.

It fits on a bedroom wall above the bed. The even bands hold the eye across the width, and the white border stays clear in morning light.
