Untitled 1967 by Eva Hesse shows soft forms set against a muted ground. The shapes do not sit still. They seem to bend and hang with a quiet weight. Eva Hesse worked in postminimal art and often used odd materials in her practice.

The fine art print keeps the soft tones clear on a matte sheet. A light frame on a dark wall lets the forms stand apart without shine. A dark frame on a pale wall does the same thing in a different room.

It hangs on the stairwell wall near the lower turn. From the landing you notice the shapes first, then the thin changes between them.
