Untitled - 1968 by Mark Lancaster shows a plain ground with soft painted marks. The marks sit in a loose arrangement, with some areas thicker than others. The surface reads as a quiet field of tone rather than a defined shape.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The white frame gives the picture a clear edge on the wall. The white edge keeps the painted tones separate from the room around them.

It works on a short hallway wall near the stairs. From the landing you see the broad painted area, and nearer you notice the softer marks inside it.
