Untitled

Untitled - 1978 by Mario Schifano shows a plain background with a few hard marks placed off centre. The shapes sit apart from the ground and let the empty parts stay open. You notice the marks most when you stand near the wall.

This fine art piece arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The matte paper keeps the tones even and stops glare under a lamp.

It fits on a narrow bedroom wall above a small table. From the doorway you see the broad empty field, and from the bed you pick out the thin edges near the marks.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 5 to 8 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch. These are estimates, and there is no express option. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.

If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the full process.
