Untitled from Seven Aquatints — Fine Art

Untitled from Seven Aquatints - Minimalism shows neat marks on a flat ground. The lines are set and measured. They do not rush across the surface.

Robert Ryman made the picture with restraint. You can see how each mark was laid down by hand and left alone. The fine art print keeps those quiet marks clear.

A white frame gives the picture a clean border on the wall. The white wood sits plain against the ground and lets the marks stay open. In a small study, the print rests over a desk. From the chair you see the lines and the quiet field together.
