Untitled No. 11 - 1957 by Mark Rothko shows two broad painted bands stacked on the sheet.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The upper field holds a warm reddish tone and the lower one settles into a deep brown. The painted edges blur into the paper, so the colour fields breathe rather than sit hard against one another.

The paper stays matte, which keeps the reds and browns flat without any shine under a lamp. A light frame on a dark wall lets the upper red field read first from the hallway. You notice the soft transition between the bands as you stand at the foot of the stairs.
