Untitled Purple Edge

Untitled Purple Edge by Sam Francis opens on a pale ground with thin purple washes spread across it. The purple stays near one edge and leaves the rest of the sheet open. The empty white space holds the weight.

This fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel and arrives assembled when the ready to hang option is used. The matte paper keeps the purple tones soft and the light does not shine on it.

On a bedroom wall the broad white field shows first and the purple band reads as a quiet edge at the side. The eye rests on the open space before it reaches the colour edge.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
