Untitled SF27S

Untitled SF27S by Sam Francis puts open washes of paint over a pale ground. The paint pools in a few spots and thins out toward the edges. This follows the abstract expressionist practice of working with broad pigment areas on a blank field.

A fine art print set in a frame with a back panel holds the image flat. The matte surface keeps the thin paint lines visible without glare from overhead bulbs.

It fits a dining room wall across from the table. From the chair you see the wider colour areas, while the thinner wash lines show from the doorway.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
