About this work

Untitled

The title Untitled - SF78-235 points to an abstract painting by Sam Francis. Open colour washes spread across a white field. The paint leaves soft edges where the colour thins out.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. A white frame keeps the picture clear on the wall. The white edge sits against the pale ground without pulling the eye away from the washes.

On a bedroom wall the big colour forms stay steady from the foot of the bed. Up close you see the thin paint and the marks where the colour fades.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.
Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
