Untitled SFP53-31 — Fine Art

Untitled SFP53-31 opens on a pale ground where loose colour spreads leave open space around them. The paint stays thin and the edges stay soft, a look tied to the abstract watercolour practice of Sam Francis. You see broad areas of colour next to quiet white without hard borders.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The matte surface keeps the thin colour washes flat and stops a shine under a lamp. The frame holds the image steady and the back panel covers the rear.

It fits on a kitchen wall above the counter near the window light. From the sink you notice the pale ground first, then the colour spreads gather where the light falls. The frame edge keeps the whole picture tidy against the tile.
