A light field sits against a darker one, and the edge where they meet sets the tone for the whole image. Blinky Palermo worked with simple colour areas and clear forms, and this print follows that approach. The print uses a fine art paper with a matte finish.

On a pale wall the light areas stay soft and the dark shapes hold their own. Hang it on a wall where the light comes from one side, at a height you can reach without standing on anything. In a hallway near the coat hook, the straight edge lines up with the door frame and the colours read clearly at that distance.
