Urbana #2 The Archer — Fine Art

Urbana #2 The Archer shows a standing figure with a loose arm and an arrow pulled back. The body sits inside flat colour shapes that sit beside and behind it. Richard Diebenkorn worked in a bay area figurative style that mixes painting with drawing.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black. A clear frame edge holds the figure inside the picture so the flat fields do not drift off the paper.

It works on a kitchen wall near a sink where morning light hits the flat colour shapes. From the breakfast table you notice the arrow shape before the standing figure. The hand and the drawn bow stay clear against the lighter ground.
