Valley of the Lot at Vers 1912 by Andre Derain

Valley of the Lot at Vers 1912 by Andre Derain sets a river valley view with broad colour areas and thick paint strokes. The subject is a landscape with water and trees in strong tones.

The fine art print arrives with a frame in white, wood, dark wood or black. A white frame keeps the bright colours clean against the picture edge. A dark wood frame sets the darker tones apart.

Hang it on the stair wall where the light hits the paint strokes from below. You notice the thick marks and the river line as you walk past.
