Variation Glorreicher Abend Sommersegen II 1917 — Fine Art

Variation Glorreicher Abend Sommersegen II 1917 uses close bands of colour to suggest a summer evening sky. The painting sits on its own, with a steady quiet that holds when you stand back.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The white frame gives the image a clean edge against the wall. That edge keeps the soft tones from fading into the plaster.

The paper surface stays matte, so the greys and blues do not shine under a lamp. You notice it first in a bedroom, where the top bands sit above the bedhead and the eye stays on the slow colour shifts.
