Various Parts 1940 — Fine Art

Various Parts 1940 by Wassily Kandinsky opens on a pale ground with coloured shapes placed across it. The shapes sit apart and do not touch each other. This fine art print shows the abstract painting movement of the artist in a simple arrangement.

The fine art surface takes the light gently, so each colour reads clearly on the wall. A light frame fits a dark wall and a wood frame sits beside wooden furniture in the same room.

It hangs on a hallway wall at shoulder height, where the small marks catch the light from the room lamp. You notice the quiet spacing between the shapes as you pass by.
