Vase of Dahlias — Fine Art

Vase of Dahlias fills a shallow dish with round flower heads. Broad strokes of pink, white and yellow sit near the centre of the picture. The loose marks stay open around the rim.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. Claude Monet painted this kind of flower bunch with quick brushwork and broken colour. A white wooden frame gives the edge a clean line. The gap between the flowers and the frame keeps the picture steady on the wall.

You see the shapes first, then the small strokes. Put this framed print above the kitchen sink. The pale petals clear a dim corner and the petals catch the morning window light.
