Vase of Flowers 6 — Fine Art

Vase of Flowers 6 shows a group of blooms set in a vase against a plain ground. The petals sit in loose patches of colour while the stems lean together in a cluster. Odilon Redon often returned to flower subjects in his symbolist still lifes, using pastel and charcoal to build soft forms.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The matte surface keeps the petal tones even and stops glare from a ceiling light. The frame holds the paper flat and the back panel seals the edges.

On a kitchen wall above the sink, the vase shape reads first from the doorway. As you move closer, the loose colour patches and the stem lines become the main detail.
