Vase with Flowers — Fine Art

Vase with Flowers by Odilon Redon shows a vase and blooms drawn with loose pastel and charcoal work. The petals read as open shapes against a muted background.

A quiet tone settles over the whole surface. This fine art print uses matte paper so the greys stay flat and the lighter strokes do not shine.

Hang it on a pale wall near a lamp, about half way up the surface. It reads well above a dining table where you notice the leaf edges from a chair across the room.
