Vertical Line from the series Line Form Color

A single vertical band of colour runs from top to bottom in Vertical Line from the series Line Form Color by Ellsworth Kelly. The band meets the surrounding field with a sharp edge. Ellsworth Kelly built his practice around flat colour and hard edges drawn from postwar abstraction.

This fine art print is ready to hang on arrival. The white frame gives the picture a clean border on the wall. That border sets the vertical shape apart from the wall and keeps the colour from losing its edge.

It works on a narrow wall in a dining room between two chairs. From the table you see the full height of the colour shape against the plain field.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
