Viajeros Del Éter — Fine Art

Viajeros Del Éter - 1988 shows forms that seem to move through space, drawn in the layered colour and loose strokes Maruja Mallo used across her work. The shapes sit over a ground of mixed tones, with some areas left open and others built up in thin passes.

The fine art print sits on a wall where the light falls across it, so the thinner painted passages stay visible and the denser ones hold their weight. A light frame on a dark wall or a dark frame on a pale wall lets the frame finish follow the room.

In a reading corner by the door, the drifting shapes catch the eye first, then the small shifts in tone come into view as you sit with a book.
