About this work
A black outline of a washing machine stands on a plain ground in Washing Machine 1961. Ben day dots fill the drum and the lid area with flat red and blue.
The fine art print comes ready to hang. The machine sign came from comic book printing methods used by Roy Lichtenstein. The white frame gives the picture a clear edge on the wall.
You see the hard outline against the wood finish. It works well on a kitchen wall near the sink. From the doorway you notice the bold black line of the machine.
