About this work

Watching 20-1-07

Watching 20-1-07 - 2007 by John Hoyland fills the sheet with broad painted fields. The date at the top tells you the year of the work.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. Across the room the colour blocks read as flat areas. Up close you see the hand strokes pressing into each area.

The white frame gives the picture a clear edge on the wall. A kitchen wall picture with daylight shows the paint layers plainly.
