Womens Intuition, after Aspen — Fine Art

Womens Intuition, after Aspen uses a bright yellow band across a dark ground. A red shape sits on the left edge. The blue parts sit low and calm against the warm tones.

James Rosenquist built pop art from advertising layouts and collage cuts. The picture keeps that flat colour layout but slows it down. You can hang this fine art print on a pale hallway wall at shoulder height.

A light frame on the pale wall keeps the yellow from washing out. A dark frame on a dark wall lets the red shape stand out. From the stairwell you see the broad bands first, then the small cut marks near the bottom.
