Woodland — Fine Art

Woodland by Eyvind Earle shows a forest scene built from flat colour bands and clean outline shapes. Trees rise in stacked forms against a pale ground, a style found in mid century illustration. The picture keeps every leaf and trunk in a clear outline.

This fine art print sits inside a frame with a back panel, so the image stays covered and protected. The paper holds the flat colour without shine, which suits the even tones in Woodland.

Hang it on a bedroom wall near a low lamp. From the foot of the bed you see the dark tree shapes, and the outline work stays sharp in the light.
