Work — Fine Art

Work - Abstract Expressionism shows a single mark that moves without a fixed path. The line changes weight as it goes, lighter in one stretch and firmer in another. Toko Shinoda works with quick ink and brushwork, and this print keeps that gesture in place.

The print is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. That setup keeps the mark flat and the surface even, so the line reads the way it was made. The matte finish holds the grey tones without shine.

It fits a hallway wall where the light comes from one side. From the end of the hall you see the sweep of the line, and the small changes in pressure show when you walk past.
